In today’s meeting, the Arkansas Legislative Council neither approved nor denied the UAMS and DHS requests to mandate the vaccine. Instead, they asked the state agencies to wait a few weeks to see if the multiple court cases are successful in having the CMS mandate stayed. They also asked, and UAMS specifically agreed, to back off issuing mandates and to broadly collect and accept religious and medical exemptions. DHS was a bit less agreeable, stating that it could take a lawyer up to four hours per exemption to review. The ALC did pass a resolution supporting / directing the AG’s office to file comments in the CMS rulemaking and otherwise take action on behalf of Arkansas to shut down the unconstitutional vaccine mandate. They also agreed to consider an Act 608 request from Senator Garner to formally review the constitutionality of the Biden mandate (see below); it was referred to public health.

” The Idaho state house passed legislation that would enable people to receive workers’ compensation if they fall ill due to a mandated Covid-19 shot, with the bill finding bipartisan support in the Republican-dominated state.

Approved overwhelmingly in a 67-3 vote on Tuesday, House Bill 417 seeks to amend Idaho’s code pertaining to workers’ compensation to “provide that vaccine-related accidents or injuries shall be compensable” by employers or insurers.

“If the employer is telling you, you have to do this in order to work here, if they’re doing that, then, by golly, I think our system ought to provide a fair compensation method,” Democratic Rep. John Gannon said in support of the measure.”

The Arkansas Legislative Council meets Friday (11/19) at 9AM. They could approve Cam Patterson’s request to mandate the vaccine at UAMS. We have one last chance to stop this. Call the members of ALC; tell them to vote NO to the UAMS mandate. The most likely scenario is that the CMS (Medicare / Medicaid) mandate will be stayed by a federal court very soon, eliminating Patterson’s argument of loss of funding. If ALC votes to allow UAMS to mandate, then it will create a snowball effect of every state agency asking for a waiver. It is time for the ALC members to exercise fortitude by standing up to these woke bureaucrats.
